Why do we play the harp? Because we love the way it sounds,
the way we can feel the sounds vibrations when we wrap our arms
around it, and because it looks like no other instrument!
With the guidance of a skilled teacher, everyone can learn
to create beautiful music at the harp and derive the physical
benefits of music. The study of music leads to improved memory,
coordination, language and math skills. Musical discipline helps
stimulate creativity, and can lead to greater self-discipline and a
more positive self-image by improving one's goal setting and problem solving abilities.
